First Impressions

The First Impressions ministry at Traverse is a way to serve the guests that walk through our doors each week. There are a wide variety of ways for you to serve in this ministry including greeting, serving in hospitality, being a part of our communion and offering times, and even assisting on the parking team! If you have any questions about the various needs for this ministry, please connect with us!

Children's Ministry

Our children's ministry ranges from birth to 5th grade. Here at Traverse, we create a safe environment with activities and programming for each age group that facilitates learning and encourages spiritual growth in your children. We are looking for people that love working with kids, and more importantly, want to be a part of a child's growth towards a relentless pursuit after God.

Worship AND tECH Ministry

God has designed us to worship Him in various ways. Here at Traverse, we aim to create a sense of freedom in worship through music and song.  Every week, we come together to worship God with thanksgiving and praise. We seek to use our talents and abilities to minister to the hearts of His people. If you play an instrument or sing, we would love for you to join our worship family.

Worship ministry isn't just the people that serve on stage. It also includes some behind the scenes elements through our tech ministry. There are many ways to serve in this ministry from running sound, working with the lights, or using presentation to help the service run smoothly. If you have any interest in these areas of worship ministry, we would love to have you serve!

If you are interested in serving on the Worship or Tech team contact Caleb Garison.

Setup and TearDown

Being a mobile church that meets in a gym each week, we have a ton of equipment to setup and teardown to be ready each Sunday. This requires a lot of assistance, both before and after the service. If you are interested in helping serve in this area of ministry, or want more information about setup and teardown, we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Contact Patrick Lightfoot if you would like to help.

Student Ministry

Our student ministry ranges from the start of middle school (6th) through high school graduates (12th). Our goal is help the youth of our community learn what it means to have a deep relationship with Jesus Christ.
